Tenant Background Check Forms
In order to run a credit and/or background check on your applicant, you must have a signed consent and authorization form (tenant background check form) signed by your applicant. The authorization serves as a release that allows the property manager/landlord to perform a credit and/or criminal background check of the releasor. The property manager or landlord will usually assess a fee for providing the service. If you don't have a tenant background check form contact our office to get a sample form.
If your interested in automating the signing of this form, Insight Screening Solutions offers a cloud-based approach to your application and leasing process, this feature is called QuickLeasePro. QuickLeasePro will allow your applicant to sign the tenant background check form electronically.
